Cognition Lab
Hands-on laboratory exercises in cognitive psychology research methods
Each week of this laboratory course, students explore a new experimental paradigm in cognitive psychology, examining its theoretical foundations before building the experiment from the ground up in PsychoPy, collecting their own data, and drafting the corresponding sections of an APA-style report. The course culminates in an original research project in which students design their own study, collect data from peers, analyze it, and produce a complete research report.
